We’re looking for a Mid‑Level Industrial Designer who can take ideas from early sketches to refined, manufacturable design directions. This role is perfect for someone who blends creativity with technical understanding, communicates visually with clarity, and enjoys collaborating closely with mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams to bring real products to life.

Responsibilities
- Develop concept sketches, form studies, and visual explorations that define product direction and personality.
- Create 3D CAD concept models that balance aesthetics, ergonomics, and engineering feasibility.
- Produce high‑fidelity renderings and presentation materials for client reviews, investor decks, and internal decision‑making.
- Contribute to CMF development, including material selection, finish recommendations, and brand‑aligned visual language.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure designs translate cleanly into manufacturable geometry.
- Participate in user experience mapping, ergonomic evaluations, and interaction planning.
- Support prototype development with appearance models, mockups, and iterative refinements.
- Prepare clear, organized design documentation including design rationale, guidelines, and handoff packages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience designing physical products.
- Strong sketching, visualization, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) and rendering tools (KeyShot, Blender, etc.).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and DFM considerations.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate design intent clearly.
- Bonus: experience with UX mapping, CMF development, or working on electromechanical products.
